Are you interested in setting aside some quality time to work on your work-in-progress? Do you want to spend some time with other like-minded writers and discuss all things plotting, industry, trends, etc over a shared meal, and fill that creative well within you? Or do you want to just hang out with folks who don’t think you’re weird for writing romance?
RWA is trialing a new initiative – the Writers’ Retreats program, for RWA members.
Whether you prefer a structured event with a writerly host to guide you along, or an unstructured event where you can tap away and get words down, and mingle at your discretion with other writers doing exactly the same thing, we’re looking at creating an environment to suit all members. This program will be member-driven. YOU tell us what you want.
Do you want a guided retreat, with talks tackling elements of craft from experienced writers?
Do you want a more relaxed, individually-focused time away to work on finishing your story?
Are you looking for the self-catered, B&B experience, or the room-serviced hotel experience?
We want to know! Retreats will be organised based on feedback, and the Retreats Team will occasionally send out surveys and announcements on upcoming events.
