Cover Crush | November

The end is almost here. November has come. We only have a few weeks left of 2018 and I’m not sure where all the time went. As usual, our member’s latest monthly releases are a feast for the eyes and there is nothing I look forward to more than opening up the RWA’s Heart’s Talk to celebrate what this community has to offer. This month we have a gorgeous temptation. A picturesque scene of tranquillity. The mental load of womanhood often means that the simple pleasure of reading in the grass is for those of us less overwhelmed. But this is the exact reason why we read. To escape, to nourish our souls, to surrender to the words on a page and be transported to wonderment. How could I not be drawn to the vibrant greens and purples that highlight this vivid scene of relaxation and enjoyment? How could I not yearn to be the woman lost in her book on the cover? Tactile, sumptuous and decedent, this is a cover worthy of the story within. The typeface seamlessly interplays with the imagery and as usual with great covers, this is a work of art. So, this month’s Cover Crush goes to On the Same Page by Penelope Janu, published with Brio Books. Congratulations Penelope and welcome to the Cover Crush family. If members would like to get their covers into Heart’s Talk, just log into your account on the RWA website and upload your image before the 8th of each month. If you’re interested in reading my previous cover crush nominations, you can find them on the Romance Writers Australia website. Until next month… Annabelle
