Do you know that there is an east coast RWA Writers’ Retreat happening in July?
Have you ever wanted to spend a weekend with writers who live near you – sharing ideas, writing together? You can! Have you ever wished there were more opportunities to socialise with fellow RWA members? There are!
The inaugural RWA Writers’ Retreat will be hosted at Bawley Bush Retreat, a picturesque lake-side site approximately halfway between Canberra and Sydney. The event will begin in the afternoon of Friday 14 July and end in the evening of Sunday 16 July. The cost is $224 per person, which includes two nights of accommodation (single and twin share, depending on availability) and conference room facilities. Attendees pay for their own food, drinks and transportation, and are responsible for bringing their own writing equipment.
The overall purpose of this Retreat is to get you away from your everyday and bring you together with like-minded people. Want to finish a project? Want to talk all things writing? The Retreat can be what you make it.

Bookings must be received by 20 June – so get in quick to avoid missing out! Book here.
Please note: There is a maximum of twenty-six people subject to room allocations, and a ten-person minimum required for this Retreat to proceed. If minimum numbers are not met the Retreats Team will get in touch with members who have booked to discuss a reschedule or refund.
The Retreats Team will be promoting future events in Hearts Talk, on social media, and on the RWA website here – make sure you check back for more dates and exciting venues around Australia.
May be muse be with you!
The Retreats Team.
