October OWL | Resolution and the HEA with Rachel Bailey

In OWLS by Web Content1 Comment

As Mickey Spillane said, “The first page sells your book. The last page sells your next book.” Readers might love your opening, but when they’ve finished reading your book, it’s the ending they’ll remember. So, how powerful is your story’s resolution and HEA? This workshop, “Resolution and the HEA: Make Them Cry & Leave Them Smiling” will show you practical ways to increase the impact of your final scenes so readers will be keen to buy your next book.

About the Presenter

Rachel Bailey developed a serious book addiction at a young age (via Peter Rabbit and Jemima PuddleDuck) and has never recovered. Just how she likes it. She went on to gain degrees in psychology and social work, but is now living her dream— writing both category romance and romantic comedy. Her books have hit the USA Today bestseller list, are published in over 26 countries, and have been translated into more than 16 languages. She lives on a piece of paradise on Australia’s east coast with her hero and their dog pack.

  1. Hi Rachel,
Will you be giving this workshop next year, too? Would love to do it, but am in the middle of a domestic drama (my Rottweiler had her leg amputated some weeks ago) and my focus is severely divided at present – yet I don’t want to miss your workshop if it’s the only one you’re giving. If you’re not running it again, I will enrol now, despite challenged attention span.
    Best wishes,
    Margot
